Paddington Bear Action

Monday 24 October: 14:00

Kings Cross/St  Pancras

The destruction of the Calais camp is now weeks away – last time a section of the camp was destroyed, 100 children went missing. But the issue of the child refugees of Europe goes beyond Calais. It is a question of what role the UK plays in responding to the 90 000 unaccompanied children currently in Europe.

The next key campaign date to highlight is Monday October 24, when we will be running Paddington actions all over the UK, to get council leaders to commit to resettling a defined number of refugee children.

In London, there will be a gathering at the small square between Kings Cross and St Pancras on Monday 24 October at 14:00 (please note time change, no longer 12:00).  St Pancras is an important station, given that most of the unaccompanied refugee children who are resettled in the UK arrive here.

Come dressed as Paddington Bear- ask London councils to ‘Look after these children!’
