Every service and study session is followed by a communal meal, so please do bring a vegetarian or kosher fish dish along, and drink and dessert if you can. We’ll see you there!

Friday Evenings

Erev Shabbat Services

We welcome in Shabbat from 6:30 on the first and third Friday evenings of each month. Services are led by either a professional or student Rabbi or a member of the community using our own Siddur. For listings, check the calendar.

After Service Events

On the first Friday of every month we hold an after sevice event after our communal meal, which could be a discussion , a performance, a talk or a film screening – details of the next event are in the calendar.

After Service Events and Study Sessions

We hold meetings which provide additional time to explore Judaism and Jewishness in a context other than that of services or other religious observance. We hope that these meetings will attract Jews who stay away from synagogue life, as well as those who have already made BKY their communal home.
